We are so proud of 100WS Founder and President, Karen G. Schaufeld, who has been named as the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) 2016 Community Champion for her many charitable and community outreach efforts. According to NVFS, which is a 100WS grant recipient, Community Champions enrich the quality of life for others, especially families and children in need as they journey on their personal road to independence in Northern Virginia. The 100WomenStrong 2024 Grant Cycle application window closed on November 1st. Please see our Grant Process page for more information about the application process. Nonprofits who were selected to move on to the next stage will be notified by December 18, 2023.
