Inova Loudoun Hospital, a past 100WomenStrong grant recipient, received the largest single gift in the hospital’s history, courtesy of Fred Schaufeld and 100WomenStrong members Karen and Bobbi Schaufeld. The gift is for expansion of the Schaufeld Family Heart Center, a top-tier cardiovascular facility that offers percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac catheterization, stress testing, peripheral angioplasty, stenting and many other services. The expansion will include expanding their offerings to include vascular surgery, upgrading existing procedure rooms and adding procedure rooms, a new lab and a new nurse’s station.
